Based on Iris van der Eijken’s artwork. After the well-received leader of the previous year, I was asked to create another one. Again based on the festival poster it was somewhat similar in approach to the one before, but also very different. My aim, again, was to make the flat image 3D using after effects, really making use of all the layers of the psd-file.

Feeling Seen

I got a kick out of it because the leader featured all over the place. On social media, on the website, before many of the festival films during its 10 day run, in the hallway display, and even looming large on a huge outdoor screen at the Rembrandtplein every 2 minutes.

Ident

The ident for festival brainchild Jan Doense’s film production company House of Netherhorror followed after that. It first featured in their award winning fealture film De Poel.
